I saw this really cool photo of a 3D drawing (shown above) and it reminded me of my goal for this week: to get term life insurance for someone. I need to do this right away because the existing one will expire by the 28th of this month! The person is traveling with some people I know and I was asked by him to get the new term life in effect as soon as possible.
And I am about to go and get the quotes now!

These are just some indications that Christmas is around the corner. Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere I go!
I keep telling myself that I will commence my holiday shopping October of every year. But you know what? I still keep finding myself on first week of December, still completing my Christmas list and planning several trips to the mall. This weekend, I am planning to go and start my shopping. Let’s see if I can finish on one go. I doubt very much if it will work but let’s see.

I think I will start with my immediate family. And then for friends. My godchildren already have their gifts from me so that’s not a problem anymore.

I’ve seen the new iPhone and I know that it is calling out my name. I told my sister that this coming 2012 will be the year that I will indulge on travel and gadgets for myself. Apple products will be on top of my list for the gadgets I want to buy.
I haven’t really indulged in a long time, buying anything my heart desires for myself. But this time around I will really indulge myself and come what may!
I am becoming obsessed with going to Paris, France!
I would like to give myself until I turn 40 to plan and make it happen.
Just wait for me Paris and I will find a way to get there. I will use that travel bug Paris design and will make sure that I already have someone with me by the time I have enough to see you in person.

There are those of us who is ‘paralyzed’ by problems we are facing. I am one of those persons. When faced with a big problem, I couldn’t get on with life until it gets resolved. But then I realized that if I keep on being that way, how can I make the most out of my life?
These days I’d like to think that I am stronger and more capable of seeing the benefits from every adversity I face. There is a benefit in a problem. Be it making you stronger and more resilient or a blessing in disguise you still haven’t been given a clue on.

Last month’s top performer in the call center company was given a reward card. Since my cousin already knows that another reward card will be given to this month’s top performer along with a cash incentive, he is really doing his best to be the top among the thousand agents in the company! This one guy, an aspiring actor, who is quite popular these days paraded around in breeches. I was in the studio where he had a photo shoot and I swear I almost fainted when I saw him! He is sexy and hot and he definitely knows it and is using it to his benefit!

If there were two cities in this world that I have dreamed of when I was in my teens to early 20′s those cities were New York and Paris. Cities boasting of being the heart of their countries. The two cities are where tourists flock to when they go to the USA and France, respectively.
What did I find interesting with the two cities I dreamt of seeing it in person before I turn 40?
Well, I used to tell my friends that I was a New Yorker by heart. My spirit belonged to New York! I am the type of person who thrives on city life. And what better place that embodies city life than NYC, right?
In Paris, I could see myself in love and with someone when I go for a visit. It is the most romantic city for me. It was and still is!
How I wish I have the means to go to either city NOW!
Tisha’s life is almost perfect until she learned that her mom is suffering from cancer. Her otherwise very neat life now has a blot in it. She doesn’t know what to do and is in the brink of a breakdown.
Good thing her boyfriend is very supportive. He is analyzing things and is wondering why her mom got bladder cancer when she isn’t even smoking. I remember the first time I saw this on TV. My sister and I love watching cooking and travel shows. Someone travelled to Shanghai, China and was made to taste this specialty in that region. He was immediately in love with the dumpling! He went to the kitchen to see how it’s done as he was fascinated with the way the soup was put inside the dumpling. I was, too!
I just know I had to taste this one. I’ve been hearing there are Chinese restaurants offering Xiao Long Bao here in Manila. But I doubt if it will be the same as the authentic one I saw on TV. Hmm…
There was an update made by the big G of the world wide web and this blog’s rank stayed the same. I am happy for that. Thankful that when most blogs I know lost a rank or two, this blog stayed the same and that for me is already a big blessing.
I write and write and there are times that I forget that for a blog to earn, it has at least to rank so it will be more visible in search engine pages. Good thing that I am reminded of that from time to time.

We are all calling an older cousin The Lawyer. He passed the last board exams and since then he became the source of so much pride of his family we started calling him The Lawyer or sometimes the professional. Ha-ha-ha! He was so happy he passed the board. His parents, my uncle and my aunt, are both so happy they gave him a samsonite briefcase that he can use for work. He already works as a paralegal in a prestigious law office and now that he is a board passer already, he will start working as an attorney in the firm.
We all can’t wait to see him in a court of law working for what he’s studied for.
Gladys is very thankful for the snow chains that she bought months ago when there wasn’t any snow yet. The roads are dangerous because of the snow but she still has to go to the office every day and go run errands for the family so the snow chains play an important role in her safety whenever she’s on the road.
She is just thankful that she has the presence of mind to buy during the summer when the snow chains are still being sold at a discount. Nowadays, it has become pricey because of the demand.
I remember back in high school one of my best friends and I found test papers of the other section. Those were test papers for English and there was an essay part. I immediately checked the test paper of my crush from that section and was totally disappointed when I saw his essay. He didn’t know how to use You’re!!!
I would like to believe that he now knows how to use it.
