Archive of ‘Virtual Tours’ category

I went on an international trip for the first time last December 8th of this year. It lasted for close to three days and I had a blast! I was not too sure about going because of my lack of funds but I guess it was meant to happen so it did.
That was a first in a long while for me.
How about you?
Happy Monday everyone!
P.S. I guess the category shouldn’t be virtual tours anymore, right? hehehe

I am becoming obsessed with going to Paris, France!
I would like to give myself until I turn 40 to plan and make it happen.
Just wait for me Paris and I will find a way to get there. I will use that travel bug Paris design and will make sure that I already have someone with me by the time I have enough to see you in person.
Wait for me!

If there were two cities in this world that I have dreamed of when I was in my teens to early 20′s those cities were New York and Paris. Cities boasting of being the heart of their countries. The two cities are where tourists flock to when they go to the USA and France, respectively.
What did I find interesting with the two cities I dreamt of seeing it in person before I turn 40?
Well, I used to tell my friends that I was a New Yorker by heart. My spirit belonged to New York! I am the type of person who thrives on city life. And what better place that embodies city life than NYC, right?
In Paris, I could see myself in love and with someone when I go for a visit. It is the most romantic city for me. It was and still is!
How I wish I have the means to go to either city NOW!

I love traveling to different places. And I would love to explore places I’ve never been to. The only hindrance is funds. Oh well…
Soon. I can feel it
List three countries you’d like to visit.
Japan. Italy. Spain.
These are three countries that I love to visit. I would love to spend years exploring all three of it! Japan is the country of cherry blossoms, sushi and tempura and tea, and entertainment! Italy is the country of architectural structures and ancient stories and prophecies and religion and mystery. It is also the country of romance. The same goes for Spain. It is also the country where the origins of my race came from and where we got our Christianity.
These three countries are on top of my list to explore if I be given a chance to do it.
What’s yours?
A friend of mine works for a travel-related company. They do bookings for tours around the world. They mostly book people to famous tourist destinations. My friend encouraged me to “like” their Facebook page so I can get to “participate” in the virtual tours they post every now and then. I did just that and boy did I enjoyed (and still is enjoying) it!
I’ve learned so many tourist destinations that I didn’t even know existed. And because of the virtual tours, there are so many places that I’ve added to the list of places I want to see before I turn 40.

I live a big life. But in reality it’s the small things that fill me up.

Some respite from the hustle and bustle of life so we can appreciate the little things that make us happy.

Don’t you just love the moments when we feel we are one with nature and everything is reduced to is simplest form?
Take some time to breathe in your surroundings. Take a moment to actually ‘see’ all the good things around you. We are all going through life as if we’re in a marathon to the finish line. We often forget to appreciate life as it should be. Now is the time to do that. Look around you. If you can’t go somewhere special, just stop for a second wherever you are. Breathe in life.
As what they say, live life. Love life.

One city that I’ve always wanted to go to is New York City. It was a place I’ve always loved since I was a teen. I may not know what to expect when I get there but I know I will go to Central Park first!

A local celebrity always spends his holidays in New York City. All by his lonesome. Come the eve of Christmas, he’d stay in Central Park, bringing with him his laptop and other gadgets. He just loves to feel the spirit of Christmas while freezing his butt there.
As for me, I’d be fine without the snow

Another place I’d always wanted to go to in NYC is Times Square. I just love the feel of the rush of the place and the feel that you are always on the go. Plus, have you seen Times Square on New Year’s Eve countdown?

Spectacular!
I would love to go there NOW. There are also other places in New York City I’d want to go to. But these two will do for now.

I have always wanted to travel the world. But coming from a middle-class family, that is quite impossible to do. Plus in this country, tourist visas are hard to come by. So I thought, why not go on a virtual travel instead? I thought I will post a country I would love to explore once or twice a week.
For this week, let’s start with Spain. This country is number one on my list if ever I am given a chance to travel the world. Maybe it’s the Filipino in me. We have Spanish roots. In fact, my dad and his family speaks Spanish. Or maybe it’s the rich culture. I also love their architectural sites!
Anyway, I found this on the net. Some photos of places in Spain I can explore…
The famous Alcazar of Segovia Spain
I love castles. I will surely go and see the famous ones.

I’ll explore Barcelona, Madrid, Ibiza, Granada and the famous Santiago. I’ll probably stay in a hotel like this…

I’ll also visit museums like the Guggenheim in Bilbao.

And of course, watch the bullfighting!

Did you enjoy our trip to Spain today? I did!
