Can you feel my cravings for cupcakes?

I keep seeing cupcakes everywhere, to tell you the truth. I can’t help myself but be hungry for it whenever I see one. It doesn’t help that each and every cupcake I see looks yummy and oh so cute!

Oh, cupcakes! How you tempt me!

I am craving for Chicken McNuggets right now!

I eat this with rice, do you know that? I love the barbecue dip and I can eat at least 10 of this! It may not be the real chicken but it’s close enough and I love it.

Do you eat nuggets, too?

One of the dishes I ate in Hong Kong was this Sweet and Sour Pork Rice Dish. I am telling you I have eaten so many sweet and sour dishes in the past but the one in Hong Kong was by far the best one I’ve ever tasted! If I can only go back there now and eat it once again, I’d do so.

I am craving for it!

I am craving for ripe mango with bagoong as dip. Yum! This is normally a craving for pregnant women but worry not as I am not preggers. I am, however, truly craving for different kids of food. I guess the cool air and the longer hours of work are the culprits in making me hungry all the time!

I am suddenly craving for California Maki. I saw a photo of it on a friend’s Facebook wall and I found my mouth watering and my tummy hungry for a taste of it. I love the one from Edsa Shangri-la’s Heat, Teriyaki Boy, and Tempura.

I wish someone will knock on the door with a pack of California Maki on hand.

If there’s one thing that I will be looking for when I go to Hongkong next month, it will be an authentic Xiao Long Bao! Yum! Yum!

I remember the first time I saw this on TV. My sister and I love watching cooking and travel shows. Someone travelled to Shanghai, China and was made to taste this specialty in that region. He was immediately in love with the dumpling! He went to the kitchen to see how it’s done as he was fascinated with the way the soup was put inside the dumpling. I was, too!

I just know I had to taste this one. I’ve been hearing there are Chinese restaurants offering Xiao Long Bao here in Manila. But I doubt if it will be the same as the authentic one I saw on TV. Hmm…

I remember seeing Au Bon Pain when I was in between jobs. It’s near the spot in the mall that I frequent when I was attending one interview after another. I was without funds most of that time. Nothing. I couldn’t buy anything. The Au Bon Pain was mocking me with its big sign and luscious aroma.

Good thing now I can afford to go eat there. And anywhere I want!

Oh yes, I am craving for this! Lechon Cebu. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It’s bad for me because of the cholesterol and all that. But I don’t eat this every day. In fact, I only eat this once or twice a year and that’s it.

I want one!

My friends and I ate at My Thai and seeing that I was craving for Pad Thai for weeks already, I ordered one on top of the meal I had. I loved it!

I am craving for Churros con chocolate! And hot choco as well. I am hungry right now and that’s what my mouth is watering over.

I haven’t had churros in a while. I used to frequent Dulcinea because of it. But when the small kiosk they have at SM The Block was closed down, I just couldn’t bring myself to the other side of the wide mall to buy in a lesser known churros store.

But right now, any will do. I want my churros!

I am craving for a really juicy burger…

I want a big one with lots of tomatoes in it. Some caramelized onions. And iceberg lettuce. Yum!

I don’t eat burger as much as I used to. I only grab one nowadays when I really crave for it. I’ve been craving for one for the past two weeks and I think I’ll give in by this weekend.

Can’t wait!

I am craving for Pad Thai!

I have been craving for one since last week. I saw an episode of a local cooking show where the chef cooked this and it got my cravings started. I am hoping to eat a serving this coming weekend.

I want to eat the Flame-grilled Chicken Sandwich from Delifrance. I always get an email from them inviting me to try out new items on their menu. But I am lazy to go out just to get a sampler. I’ll probably try it out when I go to the mall next week. There’s a Delifrance there so might as well get my fill of their delicious looking chicken sandwich.

Can you hear my stomach growling? Ha-ha-ha

I would love some Starbucks coffee right now! Preferably a Java Chip Frappuccino or a cafe latte. Yum!

I am actually very particular with coffee brands as long as it tastes good to me. I also love Seattle’s Best Brownie Javakula and the very strong latte of Coffee Experience (a local cafe). I like strong-flavored coffee a lot and I prefer my drinks hot. But there are days when I feel like drinking the cold ones, too.

I am craving right now for a Savory Long Life Pancit Canton and Fried Chicken. I love Savory’s pancit canton because it is not dry and it tastes just right. Not too salty unlike some pancit canton in other restaurants. I also like Savory’s fried chicken. Like that of Max’s, Savory’s fried chicken is juicy and the taste goes through the bones! Plus the gravy is a must when eating their chicken.

I will eat at Savory soon…

I am craving for quesadillas! There is no restaurant near us offering one. I wish we live in the Tomas Morato area where there are a lot of restaurants, fast food joints, and diners. There’s one in every street. I am sure I can find the quesadillas I am craving for there.

I am craving for a Pasta Aligue with Shrimps right now. I am a person who loves to eat rice for every meal but when there’s pasta, I’d go for it. The thing is, there’s no one at home who really loves to cook. My sister would cook pasta from time to time. I love her carbonara! But other than her…

I wish I didn’t stop cooking. But I did. I think I lost my passion for it. If I am not too busy anymore I think I will try and cook once again.

Locals call it CPA, short for chicken pork adobo, a well-known Filipino dish. It is a combination of chicken and pork cooked in soy sauce and garlic. I love CPA with hard-boiled eggs! My dad cooks the best adobo this side of the city. I must say that when it is the dish of the day at home, we really eat a lot!

Since I saw this photo online, I have been craving for it. I will ask my dad if he can cook CPA tomorrow. Hopefully, this craving will be gone after
