Looking brand new

I thought it was a new car. That’s my initial reaction when I saw Danny’s car. It’s the same Honda that he drives around except that it looks brand new to me. It turned out that my friend used his savings to get new car accessories for his Honda. He was bored with the old look that’s why he bought new accessories for his car. He bought a new steering wheel, dash kit, headlights, tail lights, tire mags and a whole lot more. He also had his car repainted to give it a shine that it needed. It took him more than two weeks to complete the change. He asked the help of his older brother who is a part-time mechanic. Together they made the changes, replaced old accessories and put in the new ones. It was well worth the sweat and money spent. He was smiling from ear to ear when they put in the last car accessory in place. That’s according to him when I went to visit him the other day. He gave me a ride home so I could drool over his brand new looking car!

Danny got the car accessories from CARiD.com, a web site where you can get car/auto and truck accessories for every brand of vehicle you can think of. In Danny’s case, he got the Honda accessories. He saved up for the accessories and spent every penny he saved for all the ones he needed. As he said, it was well worth every penny he spent. And I believe him. I saw the finish product.

You might be in search of car accessories, too. Make your old car looking brand new in no time with a replacement of its accessories. Go to CARiD.com now, browse their inventory and get the ones for your car brand.

Crunches

Kyla has found a way on how to reduce belly fat. She gets dizzy doing crunches so what she does instead is she does this reverse crunch that is working best for her. A friend who’s a fitness trainer taught her how to do it. Of course, she has the aid of a diet program.

I also get dizzy when I do crunches. That’s why when I was enrolled in a gym a few years ago, I made use of the machines there instead of doing crunches manually. And it worked for me! Too bad I just went back to my old ways and have grown overweight again.

For the triplets

Billy bought three iPhones and iphone accessories. He will give it to his daughters. He has triplets who are celebrating their birthdays this coming Thursday. As a gift to them, he thought of a brand new cellphone. The ones they have right now are hand-me-downs from him and his wife. He can already see the happiness in their eyes when they open their gifts!

He is an indulgent father. He lost a daughter a few years ago so he is making sure that he gets to spend more time with his remaining children. The triplets are doing well in school. He and his wife thought that as long as they are studying hard and are responsible, they will give them what they need and then some wants.

Concerned with the employees

So instead of brand new ones, the company opted to buy refurbished fitness equipment. The company is on a mission to help their overweight employees get back on track. But they don’t have enough budget for it. That’s why they opted not to buy brand new equipment to buy more than just a few pieces.

I think this endeavor is commendable. Not all companies are concerned about their employees’ health. Most are indifferent about it. So for a company to actually invest on fitness equipment, albeit not brand new, is a blessing for the employees of that company who need it. I would love to work for a company like that.

Family reunion

Our neighbor is holding a family reunion and they advised those who live next door that there might be some noise coming from their house because of it. Of course we said okay to them. They don’t do this all the time. In fact, this is the first time that they will be holding a party of any kind at home.

I can see from my window that they are going all out for the party. A big box of outdoor décor was delivered today and their helpers are now arranging it. A party planner just arrived carrying, if I am not mistaken, party favors. This is exciting! I wish we’d hold a reunion like that. It’s like a formal party but with a cool theme. I wish I could see the party from my bedroom window tonight…

Proud dad

A family friend visited us and told us about the bpi certification he got. I didn’t hear much of the conversation he had with my dad. But suffice it to say that he’s really proud of himself.

And then it was my dad’s turn to brag. Not about himself but about us his children. He told our family friend about our work. He told him that my sister got sent abroad for training. He told him that my brother is now entering third year college. He told him that I am doing great with my work and that I am sending my younger brother to college and that the little girl at home is starting nursery, too.

Parents, be it dads or moms, would really find a way to brag about their kids. I know because my dad does that all the time.

Fearless!

She is fearless! When it comes to being sexy, she will do everything, try everything to maintain her hourglass figure. She is now checking out hcg diet and see if it will benefit her. If it does, then she will surely try it out. If not, she will move on to her next discovery.

Her family and friends never fail to remind her that there are side effects to everything she takes. She’s fearless, as I’ve said. She doesn’t mind the reminders but goes ahead and does whatever she wants to do. Anyway, according to her, it’s paying off. She is still as sexy as when she was 18. She plans to stay that way until her last breath.

Popular celebrity blog

The men at the corner store were talking about vigrx which they read about in a blog. The blog is owned by a local DJ/TV host. He dishes out different topics in his blog but mostly targeted on a male audience. I didn’t know it was that popular until I hear the men talking about it.

When you open a blog, you don’t expect it to do so well in its early stages. It will take some time unless you are a celebrity. In that case, you need not wait so long to see the influx of comments from different personalities. People will flock to your blog even if you are writing about crap. I tell you, some blogs I found are just like that. And I kept wondering why the comments number by the hundreds. When I checked the owner, he or she is a celebrity!

No wonder.

Crybaby!

My friend was teasing her daughter about being a crybaby. They watched Shrek Forever After and her eldest daughter cried. According to my friend, her daughter cries in every movie they watch. I was laughing at their banter. But I realized after that I am also a crybaby. I also cry a little in almost every movie I get to watch. I think it’s the melodramatic in me that surfaces during those times I shed a tear or two.

I cried in The Last Song when the little boy, the younger brother of the lead character broke down when his dad was in critical condition already. I cried when Tatum Channing cried in Dear John. I cried a little in How To Train Your Dragon during the part that the boy realized he lost his leg. And so many more scenes in different movies I’ve watched.

Have you cried while watching a movie yourself?

Old high school classmate

I never heard from this high school classmate of mine until I saw her at the credit card processing department of an international bank here in the country. I was actually surprised to find her there. A bank is the last place I would expect to see her at. She’s always been the type of person I associated with entertainment. But there she was, smiling at me when she saw me walking towards her boss’s office.

I was there to hold a meeting with her boss about a deal with my former boss. It was complicated but suffice it to say that I was happy I took over the meeting. Otherwise I wouldn’t have seen my old classmate.

Big family

How come it is so hard to lose weight? I swear even when I am not eating anymore, I feel like I am still gaining rather than losing weight. How come? I know that it’s in our genes. We are really big. Even my aunt who’s really sexy when she was still single is now as big as me. She started gaining weight after she got pregnant to her only child. She never looked back after that. She even tried a fat burner supplement but I guess she binged that time as well so it wasn’t successful for her.

In my case, I don’t binge but I do eat a lot of rice especially when I am tired or worried about something. I have been that way ever since. I don’t know if I can ever lose weight as much as I lost more than three years ago. But I am really trying my best to cut back on my food intake and start from there.

Bringing back the spark

She cried when she saw the testosterone cream in his things. She jumped to the worse conclusion right away… he was cheating on her! She was devastated. She gathered enough strength to confront him right away. He didn’t deny owning the cream. What he denied was the womanizing. He bought the cream for her!

Lately, the couple is experiencing a lackluster bedroom performance. They were both tired all the time coming from work. At home, she has to take care of the kids first and then she has to do some household chores. He brings home more work. As a result, their intimate time was affected. As a way to bring back what they previously had her husband thought of using the cream to boost his performance and satisfy her more than ever. He actually has a vacation booked for the two of them this coming weekend! She profusely apologized to her husband and the apology ended up to a really nice evening for them. If you know what I mean…

Silliness over background music

Let me tell you something… I can work better if there’s music in the background. I am not like other people who couldn’t work with music. My friend’s like that. She couldn’t stand any noise when she’s thinking. It disturbs her train of thought. In my case, music is my muse. It helps me come up with so many ideas that I need for my work.

When I was working in a call center company, I used to be annoyed that all of us have our own radio stations on. I would turn my volume up a bit so they would turn down theirs. Anyway, I was the highest ranking officer in that room so I felt I had every right to the music. As silly as that sounds, it was totally important to me to have my own music. Because if I didn’t get to hear my own music, it got me totally irritated and I was usually left being that way for the rest of the day. It was really silly, I know! My co-workers loved to listen to corny local songs. I wouldn’t have any of that. I loved (and still do) working with smooth jazz and R&B on the background. Or simply mellow music. Other than that, I totally get distracted.

I was silly and still am and I couldn’t do anything about it.

Skeptic me

I ought to try the appetite suppressants that Leila is telling me about all the time. She’s slimmed down. And she’s claiming that it’s all because of the suppressants she’s taking. She’s not going to profit from it so I guess I have to say she’s telling the truth.

I sometimes doubt the intentions of the people who are so enthusiastic in recommending to you a product. Call me a skeptic but I feel like there’s a hidden agenda to the recommendation. I would rather try something that a person hardly recommends because the person is afraid of the possible side effects than something that is being peddled hard enough for everyone to buy.

Something memorable

Something memorable happened to my cousins the other day. My cousins went to a tiangge located within a city. They bought in several kiosks and when they were already eating dinner, that’s when they realized that they forgot to get their change from a kiosk that they couldn’t remember anymore. It was a big amount so they were adamant to get the change.

They went back to each store they went to. Each of the salesladies told them that they didn’t buy from them. Until they saw the epson tm-t88iv printer from one of the kiosks. My cousin remembered that one because she even commented about how she was impressed the kiosk had a printed receipt. Good thing the saleslady was actually waiting for them to come back and get their change.

Overly protective

My friend is overly protective with her daughter. She bought so many things for her daughter’s room so that she won’t get sick. The little girl even has a dehumidifier. I actually see nothing wrong with my friend’s attitude. It’s her baby and she has every right to act on whatever she feels would protect her baby from sickness. I just think that a little dirt here and there won’t be bad for her. It might actually boost her daughter’s immune system. But if she just keeps on wiping her hands and mouth all the time and changing her clothes…

Of course, it is entirely different if you just let your kid wallow in mud outside the house. That’s something else.

Not a snob…

There was a time when I was working for this locally own corporation when I felt like being alone most of the time. My co-workers would ask me to go with them to lunch or somewhere but I would refuse. I would make up alibis just to get out of being with them. It’s probably more of the fact that I didn’t like them that much and that I preferred my own company if it meant making small talk with those people. I wasn’t a snob but they probably thought I was or worse, that I was a weirdo.

I didn’t mind at all. Even if they thought that I was a loser or something. I just didn’t feel like I could survive an hour with them. They were a bunch of hypocrites, smiling in front of you, gossiping about you when you turn your back. I am better off without those kinds of people.
