I have been thinking of getting a condo unit. Partly as an investment, partly because I want something to call my very own. We all live in a house owned by my dad. He keeps on telling us that the house will go to us in the future. But I don’t want to to share in it. I want the house to go to our youngest. Love can really drive a person crazy. We had a neighbor who literally went mental when his girlfriend of so many years broke up with him. Whenever I am reminded of him, I worry about a friend who’s so much in love with her boyfriend. He promised to bring her to the man’s country and marry her there. She is already moving heaven and earth to prepare for the big move that will happen by October. What if it doesn’t happen? She will surely get depressed. Big time! She is so looking forward to a new life in the arms of the man. I pray he follows through.

My dad told me that one of my cousins is taking up an associate degree course online. She is working as a legal assistant in a well-known law office in the city. She is targeting the criminal justice associate degrees at Northwestern College. I remember that when I became a certified public accountant, my dad was boasting to some relatives that I would be a CPA-Lawyer in the future. Wanting to please my dad, I took steps to becoming one. Unfortunately, work got in the way and I forgot about taking up Law. I couldn’t very well take the course while busy with a very demanding job. I saw a question that goes like this… do you wear socks when you go to bed?

And it reminded me of the socks I got last Christmas from my sister. A few years ago, I got into wearing socks whenever I go to bed. But these days, I don’t wear socks all the time anymore. I wear it when I am sick. For some reason I feel fine when I wear socks especially when I have a fever.

Or when my feet aches so bad from too much walking.

I haven’t been updating a lot because whenever I open this blog, I feel sad about what happened during the last rank updates. I lost a notch for this blog. Which I am upset about considering I regularly update this blog and I am really taking good care of this. From 3 to 2 to 1.

Anyway, I will continue blogging, don’t worry about that. I am not sure if I have regular readers here but I do know I get a fair enough traffic. I just wish I will get it back somehow.

How did you fair in the last update?

I enjoy talking to colleagues of mine. I seldom see them but when I do, we really make the most out of the limited time we all have. We talk about our profession, of course. Then we talk about the things related to it. The last time I met up with my colleagues, the topics discussed were credit cards, merchant account reseller, and forex rates. It was so much fun talking to persons who understood the technical things coming out of your mouth.

I will be meeting up with them again within the month. Time to read up on what’s happening in our industry then!

I just looked into my beautiful red wallet to check the amount of available cash I have. Down to 50% of what I had the past five days. I spend money that fast! Not for myself but for the household. I am thinking that I really need to get a home budget software so I can start tracking my household expenses. Cash just seems to me to be flying so fast out of my hands. I know others experience the same thing. But most people are able to rise above this challenge. I wonder if budgeting worked for them.

I will really have to start using a tracker. I promised myself at the beginning of the year that I will not experience cash shortage anymore. And to save up! But with the way things are, I am afraid of being under budget again.

Gabie loves that she has the option to apply for jobs in administration even if she’s now working as a human resource specialist. That’s because when she was still in college, she worked part time as an admin assistant for a small company. She was a one-woman department back then. If she feels like shifting to another profession, she can always go back to working as part of an admin department of any company.

I do believe there’s a big advantage for people who worked while in college. The edge work-wise over the competition is there. Not to mention the discipline and work ethics imbibed early on. I am speaking from experience.

I got the same habit from my father, retaining the same persons I have proven to be reliable. Over the years, I also have the same hair stylists, pharmacist, and optometrist. I also patronize the same bakeshop, restaurant, and florist for years.

We keep on telling her that the adipex p won’t work at all if she keeps on binge eating. We know she has a problem but she won’t share it with us. I guess she’s not yet ready to do so. And her way of coping is to binge eat. After doing so, she will down a diet pill or two, and would keep on wondering out loud why she’s not losing weight.

It is a bad habit that she has ever since I met her. She copes well by using food as an escape. That’s why she grew that big. And whatever you tell her, she would just smile and nod like everything’s okay but would continue with her bad habit after.
