Looking for business loans?

Hilda, a neighbor of mine, is looking for small business loans. She wants to put up a franchise business, a food cart, for additional income. She stopped working full time to take care of her newborn baby. Their family income suffered a bit because of the income loss on her part. To alleviate the situation, she thought of putting up a business of her own, one that she can take care of while still being able to take care of her baby.

I researched and found out about EZUnsecured.com, a web site offering loans without a collateral. Their slogan is “No Time + No Collateral = No Problem”. That’s because you need not go out of your house to take care of a loan. You can easily apply for business loans and let the lending specialists at EZUnsecured.com take care of finding the best possible financing for you. You can loan as much as $100,000 with no collateral. The experts at the site will help to make sure your application is prepared correctly so it gets approved right away. Even Personal Loans will be surely approved.

What’s good with EZUnsecured.com is that they already established relationships with an extensive network of financial institutions that there will surely be one who will finance your loan application. Go and visit the site now for more information.

A handful of my friends

I only have a handful of friends that I keep, treasure and nurture. These are the friends that I happen to be friends with way back in high school, and those that I met along the way and whom I have been with through tough times.

The typical expression of opening friendship would be something like, ‘What? You too? I thought I was the only one.
- C.S. Lewis

friendsThis is how my FB description reads: I’m not much of a social creature but I treasure the few people I connect with. And it is true. I do treasure the few people I am still friends with. I’ve been friends with so many people. From school, work, neighborhood. But the handful that are still there are the ones that have stood by me through the tough times.

Mostly, friends from high school are the ones I totally jive with. They are the ones who know the real me. I have so many frustrations in life and when you ask them, they know about it. They know my family, I know theirs. And they’ve been my friends for almost two decades now. Yes, that long! We regularly see each other but even when we don’t because we’re busy with work and family life, when we see each other, it’s like it was just yesterday when we last talked. There’s never a dull moment. There’s never a topic unexplored. Yes, even the sensitive ones.

I pray that we will remain friends until we grow old and gray. Until we can’t hear each other well and would need to squint our eyes to see each other. I pray that we will be there for each other through good and bad times. I love my friends dearly. Even those times I get frustrated with one of them! :)

Living a better life

I saw my friend post on her wall that they are going on Orlando vacations. It hit me right away that her life is so much better now than what it used to be. She married a guy who is financially stable and since then, her life is no longer what it used to be, hand to mouth and struggling. Now, she goes on vacations once a month. Spends time with her son and does not need to work anymore. I know her life is far from perfect but I am happy that she is content with her life.

That’s my prayer for my siblings. For them to find a partner in life who will treat them well and love them and won’t hurt them. It doesn’t matter if the person is not rich. What is important is that he/she is a good person inside and out. You can’t ask for more than that.

I miss…

Reading books.

booksI have a pile of unread and unopened books beside me. I kept telling myself that I will read one book on weekends until I finish the pile. But on weekends, I work some more. Instead of relaxing with a good book on my hands, I am in front of my computer, working my butt off!

I know it’s a problem of time management because the past years, I was able to read and work at the same time. I think my multi-tasking ability is also going down the drain. I used to be able to work, read, chat and listen to the radio. All at the same time. But now, I get distracted so easily. For some reason, I can’t even focus on a book because my mind is in chaos.

I ought to start reading the book I got from my friend last Christmas. Maybe if I start with one, I might be able to get back my ability to multi-task. What do you think?

Who knew?

Who knew he has a thing for Swisher Sweets, right? My friend was racking her brain on what to give her boss for his 50th birthday. There was a big celebration at the office and since my friend is the boss’ assistant, she couldn’t afford not to give a gift. And something that he will appreciate.

My friend asked her dad’s opinion and her dad said he might want cigars. My friend bought a box thinking that if her boss would not want it, he can just display it at home or something. It turned out that he really does smoke cigars from time to time. He was happy with the gift.

When giving gifts, it is really better to know what a person is into so the gift won’t go to waste.

Owning a car

Dylan is thinking of selling his car already. He can’t afford the repairs and the maintenance so he might as well cash in on the unit now that it is still in good condition. The car already has a car insurance cheap one only. So I know the buyer would be getting a car that is really good.

That is one of the reasons why I am not sold to the idea of owning my car. I don’t know if I can afford the repairs and maintenance when the time comes. Not to mention the daily gasoline expenses. Anyway, I work at home and there’s a metro railway if I need to go to another city. And there’s always the reliable cab.

My cousins

One of the things I regret the most is not being close to some of my cousins on my dad’s side of the family. Sure, I talk to them from time to time. But it’s not like they are my friends. We’re only related by blood but I don’t know if we have anything in common.

I wish we will become close. I know the younger ones find it awkward to talk to me. I am not the type of person you’d easily get along with unless you spend a whole day with me. And since I see my cousins irregularly, I don’t think they would feel comfortable around me. The only one I am really friends with is my cousin who’s working abroad. We chat almost daily and we really talk about everything. He’s the same age as my brother who died and it might be a transference of sorts because I see my brother in him. Aside from that, this cousin of mine is a wacky person so you can easily find a rapport with him.

My youngest sibling, my brother, is the one who’s close to most of your cousins. Age range and he’s really very friendly.

If I could turn back time, I would have done things a bit differently in my life.

Family always

During times like this, Lent and other holidays, remembering our dear departed loved ones intensifies. If you are the kind of family who has annual traditions, it is even worse. That’s why I tell my younger cousins to spend time with their parents, their families. Who knows when one goes, right? Nobody. So we better spend as much time as possible with them.

Cancer is one of the top causes of death among people nowadays. It seems nobody is immune to it. Young and old, rich and poor. I heard a neighbor talking about mesothelioma life expectancy the other day. He knows a lot about it because the son of his boss has mesothelioma. It is really sad because the kid is still young.

Life is like that. You don’t know what it will deal you. But I would like to believe that as long as you have your family with you, you can overcome the challenges that will come your way.

Groovy old man

My grandpa is a groovy old man. You can talk to him about anything and everything and he will talk to you like an equal. He won’t condescend. You can ask him about his past, when he was still single and courting other girls beside my grandma. He would tell story after story of his naughty escapades before! You can ask him about technical stuff that he knows so much about like KVM switch and others and he will explain to you its uses. You can ask him about politics and he will get into a great discussion with you. He’s like that.

What’s your grandfather like?

Holy Week

Our family tradition is to just stay at home and contemplate during the Holy Week. On Maundy Thursday, the whole family plus some members of my dad’s side of the family goes on a Visita Iglesia. We try to visit as much as 11 to 14 churches in a day. On Good Friday, the men in the family would walk from Sto. Domingo Church to five or six different churches as a penitensya (sacrifice).

The rest of the week, we try to stay at home and be silent and reflective. That’s what we do every Lenten season. We don’t go out of town like what other families do. My dad is strict when it comes to that. He also does not want us to go swimming or being just to noisy during this week. He’s a conservative when it comes to commemorating special Catholic occasions.

Dean’s Lister again

happyMy cousin is once again ended the school year with a spot in the Dean’s List. She is really making her mom, her brother and the rest of the family so proud of her!

You know, when you look at my cousin, you will immediately think that she’s one of those airheads who don’t really study but just hang around the campus. But when you get to know her, you will realize that she has a clear cut view of her future and her goals are centered around her studies. She also prioritizes her family the most.

I am just proud of her. We may not be that close that I do tell every one I know that I have a really smart cousin around.

Lovely kid’s clothes

katemackI love everything lovely! I buy lovely kid’s clothes for our little Ninin. She loves trying on clothes when we are at the mall and even when we are at home. We both love the clothes from kate mack, especially the Kate Mack Roses Are Red Halter Dress for her. While browsing online, she saw it and instantly asked me to get her one. She is only four years old but she already knows what she wants when it comes to her clothes!

I always browse Moppet Frocks, an online children’s boutique. I love the clothes there! Actually, if there are clothes for adults in that site, I would have bought some, too. Most of the clothes I buy for our little Ninin are clothes that I also would like to wear.

For parents out there who don’t have the time to shop at the mall, you can shop at an online children’s boutique clothing like MoppetFrocks.com. You can get your kid to join you in choosing the clothes for her. Trust me, it will be a good bonding experience for you and your kid. Ninin and I often do these things, bond over online shopping. We both love it! Go to MoppetFrocks.com now and shop for your lovely kid’s clothes.

Learning patience

patience

I’ll be honest and tell you that I am not a very patient person. I totally lack that virtue. Patience. I grew up with my every whim being given to me. Right away! So you can imagine why I didn’t learn being patient.

But I must say that I’ve been trying so hard to learn this virtue. I know I can’t do it overnight but one day at a time. I am learning patience from the little kid at home. I am learning patience from my online work. I am learning patience from my surroundings. And I am praying for God to help me learn.

Are you patient?

Unique gift ideas

I know that sometimes, it is hard to come up with Unique Gift Ideas. I should know, every Christmas, I find it so hard to think of what to give to my friends and love ones. Coming from a large family, I sometimes find myself giving the same gifts to all my cousins within the same age range. It is easier for me that way. The only drawback of this is that my cousins have different personalities. It is still hard to think of a generic kind of gift that will appeal to everyone! So what I do, as early as April, I list down unique gift ideas I can think of. I also frequent online shops where I can directly buy unique gifts for different ages for every occasion.

Keepsake Gifts is also another one I have a hard time to think of. I usually give inspirational books because in my mind, after the recipient reads the book, it will leave a lasting impression on the person that I will be remembered as the one who gave the great book the person read. But of course not everyone loves reading. So I still need to think of other gift ideas. Any suggestions?

For your entertainment

Without a doubt the entertainment industry is the most interesting of all. There’s too much information you and I can get out of it. I am most interested in the love lives of my favorite Hollywood actors and actresses. I search for news about Brad Pitt and his marriage to Angelina Jolie. The marriages of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Ryan Reynolds. I also look out for what’s happening in the dating activities of Chris Pine, Leo di Caprio, George Clooney, and Channing Tatum. Of course, I follow whatever news there is about the hot Rob Pattinson a.k.a. Edward Cullen of Twilight! I tell you, all the guys I mentioned are crushes of mine and I just love reading news about them!

The entertainment industry is a very lucrative one. Movies earn millions of dollars. If you are James Cameron, you earn billions! Big stars like George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and the like take home paychecks that can tide them over for years. Since they have huge paychecks per movie they make, they go on vacations, host parties, and women flock to their side (in George Clooney’s case, that is). These make up the news. What these big stars do go on to be reported to the whole world. People who like them including me clamor for news about these stars. When they ‘hibernate’ and then go back to circulation, people lap up news about them. Or because they have squeaky clean images, when they do something naughty, the whole world is apprised of that and more. In the entertainment world, every one and every thing is potential news.

And we love it! We are being entertained at the comfort of our homes. We read the news on the net through an entertainment blog. We catch it on the evening news. In short, whatever happens in the entertainment world becomes a subject for our entertainment.

Absolute trust

happiness and trust

A kid’s trust is absolute. Have you noticed that when you extend your hand to a kid, signaling for him or her to jump, he or she will jump blindly? They trust you to catch them when they fall. They don’t have any hesitation that they might get hurt.

I wish adults can still have that blind faith, that absolute trust on people around them. But people grow up to the harsh reality of life. You don’t give your absolute trust to another person unless they’re family. Because you might end up getting hurt when you do.

Bounce back to life

A Michigan Drug Rehab, that’s what Uri needs. His parents are helping him get back up on his feet. They found him passed out on the floor of his apartment and from then on they never left his side. A close family friend told them to send Uri to a drug rehab facility because it is still the best way for a person to get off his drug dependency. But since they know know where exactly they can find the best facility for their son, they looked on the internet for one.

Uri’s parents found TheDrugRehab.com, a non-profit drug rehabilitation referral service. Drug dependents and their love ones can go to the site and they will in turn help the dependent by referring him to a drug rehab facility near him. In Uri’s case, a Michigan Drug Rehabilitation facility would be the best. He has a lot going for him. He graduated at the top of his class a year ago. He is a good-looking guy who has a gift of gab.

All Uri needs is a help from a Drug Rehab in Michigan, a lot of love from the people around him to heal, and then he will surely bounce back to his former self.

Chatty sister

latenightlatte

I am one of those persons who just love late night chats over coffee. I can talk for hours! In fact, just the other night, my two sisters was able to hit the sack finally at two in the morning. And all because I was talking to them about anything and everything under the sun! We were laughing about it the next day. Both were so sleepy at work. One is an accountant, the other one is a teacher. You can just imagine them yawning at work because their older sister was too chatty the night before!

Plus, the coffee really made them wide awake when they should be sleeping already by 11PM! Ha! Ha! Ha!
