Online daily

My cousins are online a few hours a day. I make sure I give them links to web sites where they can learn or benefit from. Like the LSAT prep site I found. You can get to know about the LSAT Prep Courses and try it for free. One of my cousins might be needing an LSAT prep. At least I already gave them the link and all they have to do is explore it some more.

In my case, I am online more than 12 hours a day. So I can get to surf a lot daily and I find great sites that I share with family and friends.

Broken

The blinds were drawn when we came to visit our friend. She’s heart sick. Broken from the betrayal done to her by her long-time boyfriend. They were engaged to be married already for a year when she found out that he got married to someone else. She wouldn’t have found out about it if it weren’t for the wedding announcement that a common friend of theirs got accidentally. Naturally, our friend was devastated when she found out about it.

They haven’t talked yet. We don’t know what the man’s plans are. Marry both women? Carry on with the engagement while married to someone else? Dump her?

I don’t think we’ll ever know. He’s hiding already.

Manhattan Meatlovers

Manhattan Meatlovers

I am craving for a Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza from Yellow Cab. I want one! I will order an 18″ pizza in a while to share with the fam.

Yum!

A case of the homesick

A woman I know is pining for her husband who’s working abroad. She always gets sick. When she goes for a medical check-up, the doctors sees nothing, the laboratory results comes back negative for any sickness. She’s been in and out of the hospital for check-ups at least five or six times already. And nothing! The last doctor they went to advised a vacation to the woman. She’s stressed out and homesick for her husband, that’s all.

So her husband went home and he promised to take her to Mexico for a vacation. They are now checking out riviera maya hotels where they can stay at. It will probably cure whatever’s ailing the woman now her husband’s with her.

Sale shopping

sale-shopping

My sister just shopped for home items. There’s a mall-wide sale at our favorite mall last weekend. Because the prices were really slashed up to 70% off, she bought some items that she thought we might need at home. Pillows, pillow cases, blankets, bedsheets, throw pillows, socks, hankies, towels, and other items for the bathroom and bedroom. She also went to the kitchen section and bought pots and pans to replace the old ones we have. And there’s the hardware store where she got Grohe faucets, garage tools for my dad, a new bidet, and a shower curtain.

I swear you’d think she just did some panic-buying!

Inspiration in the office

Do you like an office like this?

redwhiteoffice

I do! I think there’s so much inspiration in this office. What do you think? I love the red and white theme, plus the fact that it’s so organized. I just organized my stuff at my small home-office corner. It took me a couple of hours but after it, I was so inspired to write. When you see an organized room, you’d either get down to business or run scared. I’m for the former.

What about you? Do you like an organized and squeaky clean office or do you like the chaotic/messy one?

Out of sheer pride

I have volunteered to shoulder the expenses for my cousin’s graduation invitations. It was out of sheer pride for the achievements of my cousin that’s why I volunteered. There’s just too much stacked against her graduating but she did it and we are all proud of her!

My cousin takes care of her younger siblings, having lost their mom almost a year ago. She does all the tasks that her mom normally did. In spite of the loss and the added tasks, she still studied harder than ever. Look where it got her! If you know her, you’d really be proud of her. Graduating on top of her class… wow!

Attract more customers

A local store is giving out promotional products to their first and last 10 customers for the day. This will go on for the next 5 days as a way to lure in customers. It is also their way of saying thanks to their customers for patronizing the store for the past 15 years.

I think it’s a good way to attract more customers without resorting to cheap tricks. For businesses out there, I suggest giving out items that can be used right away, daily. Like ballpens with the company information on it. Or notepads. Or a kitchen item. Something that can be used often. That way, the brand recall will be there.
