I love the holiday season! Sure, traffic is horrible during this time. There are more crooks out to get your money than any other time of the year. But I love the positive vibe of the surroundings. I love how cheerful and hopeful people are in this season. I love the twinkling lights and the festive atmosphere in almost every household.

Not to mention the food!

My only problem with the holiday season is that my mind and body always feel like it’s on vacation. I would like to think that my work is not affected by this but I do think that I complete less assignments this season than any other time of the year. My usually spiffy routine always goes awry because I either overslept (yet again) or I felt like reading than working.

But hey, I am entitled to a season of slacking off, right? I work hard the rest of the year, anyway.
