I am a very impatient person. I like things to happen now. Today. Not tomorrow, or the next day or the week after. Now. And this is not good because no good thing has ever come out of being impatient. Most of the time, impatience comes with impulsive decisions. Which in turn will normally result to something bad.

Our family is notorious for being impatient. I think we got it from my dad’s side of the family. For example we are going out. We want to find a ride right away and would get irritable when we couldn’t find one in under 10 minutes. Arguments will ensue most of the time. Bad, bad, bad.

That’s why I am trying my best to learn to be patient. It’s an art and a very loooong process. I want cooler heads to always prevail in any situation. I am hoping that sooner or later, we will all learn that patience is a virtue and that good things come from waiting.
