Pet of my own

lovebirds

I don’t own a pet. I bought a pair of lovebirds for our little girl but that’s about it. It’s not like I don’t want a pet of my own. In fact, I do want one. A dog. A St. Bernard, specifically. I want a companion pet. But then getting a St. Bernard is really expensive in this country. Plus, there are times I feel incapable of caring for another being. I feel like I can’t even take care of myself, what more if I have to take care of another person or pet, right?

So for now, the lovebirds are enough…

Lure of the pages

My mother, when she was still alive, once told me that I couldn’t use the pages of my books to cover me up when I am cold and hungry. She’s not a reader like me. So she couldn’t understand the lure of the pages to me.

I think I got the reading bug from my grandma, my mom’s mom. She’s a voracious reader and I got my Barbara Cartland novels from her. I’ve been reading romance novels since I was in my teens. The thicker the book, the better for me.

It’s still the same for me. The pages still lure me like a beautiful harp tune luring a lass to the sea. Every time I come near a bookstore, expect me to come out with a book or two on hand. The lure is that powerful. Other bibliophiles like me can relate, I am sure of it.

A long and sad post…

My heart breaks whenever I remember M’s dad. He worked so hard for his family – his wife and two daughters. M is a classmate of mine. I knew their story because I became close with M. And my dad became friends with M’s dad, too. M’s parents were originally from the province. They went to the city for greener pasture. Lucky for them, they did find the business that would put their family to the right path. Or so they thought.

M and her sister finished high school. But M’s older sister, whom their parents thought was about to graduate from BS Physical Therapy, was actually squandering her tuition money with a guy she met somewhere. When their parents found out, M’s older sister was already pregnant and wouldn’t be graduating because she’s a year or so behind. M’s dad was devastated, of course. They were not expecting anything from their daughters in terms of giving back financially. They just wanted for the two to finish college so they can already go back to the province and settle there.

M’s dad died a few months ago. His hands were still dirty from being a mechanic. He never got to live his dream of settling in the province and being a simple barrio man once again. He couldn’t leave his daughters in the city because both were still unstable in life. This is the house that he had built for him and his wife…

MHouse

I saw it in a social networking site where M and I are connected as friends. I just couldn’t help but remember her dad and how he’s put his hopes for a quiet and simple life in his daughters’ college degrees. He never got to enjoy living in that house. As you can see, it was left unfinished. He died not even reaping what he sowed for so long.

It’s just so sad.

You know what I realized while writing this down? That life is getting shorter and shorter and that we should make the most out of it every day of our lives. Let’s not wait for our twilight years before we can enjoy the benefits of our hard work. Enjoy it now! While you are still alive and kicking. And don’t pin all your hopes on something or someone or you will end up totally disappointed in the end.

Repair your credit

Once upon a time, in the past, I made mistakes in some financial decisions. Credit card purchases in particular. It caused me a lot. Interest charges, penalties, surcharges added up and it put me in a state of near bankruptcy. My credit report was shot. Even years after I settled all the debts, I am still haunted by my past mistakes. Lucky for me, there’s credit repair now.

A friend told me about RepairYourBadCredit.com, a credit repair services. I was trying to get a personal loan a year or so ago but my credit investigation result was negative. Thus, the rejection. When I talked to my friend a week ago, she told me about this company.

There’s still hope for us who wants to get a good credit report. Check out credit repair companies who can help you and me get the financial help we need despite our bad credit. Go to RepairYourBadCredit.com for more information.

Get holistic dog food instead

Our pets are part of the family already. A member of our family eats good food, right? Our pets should get good food, too. Like our dog. Whitey guards us day and night. I believe it is only fair for Whitey to eat good dog food for all the loyalty and service he’s giving us.

And for healthy dog food, you can go to the web site HealthyPetFoodToYourDoor.com. They are talking holistic there. Particularly holistic dog food for Whitey and all the other pet dogs out there. Hey guys! Just imagine yourself if you are the pet… would you want your master to give you food that can make you sick? Of course not, right?

So treat your pets the way you want to be treated. They serve us and are loyal to us. They will even give their lives for us. Go to the web site now and see how you can give your dogs the food they need.

Fancy pick: You Give Me Something

HBO is showing Made of Honor and I caught it a few days ago. It was still as kilig as the first time I watched it. I just love McDreamy! Patrick Dempsey and that pretty girl I can’t remember the name are too cute as a couple. Love that movie!

Here’s the video of You Give Me Something by James Morrison off the soundtrack of the movie…

Sooo damn good to feel in love sometimes! ;)

Happy weekend everyone!

Tweet, tweet

I just sent out a tweet telling everyone that I got rid of the junk surrounding me – in my drawers and on my desk. I just felt like cleaning today so I started with the phone and didn’t stop until I cleaned out everything around my small corner home-office.

And now, I feel free! Clutter free, that is ;)

I forgot to take before and after photos, though. Anyway, I just feel so good and ready to take on the world once more! Goodbye lethargy! Yes!

Sit pretty and do nothing

Managed Web Hosting. Have you heard of that? To be honest, I’ve been hearing it before but I am not paying any attention to it. Probably due to the reason that someone else is managing my hosting for me. I am part of a shared web hosting by a friend. She takes care of everything for me. I don’t have access to the cpanel but I was given access to an ftp account.

This is almost the same as a managed web hosting. Everything will be taken cared of for you that includes installation, updates and reboots. The Best Managed Web Host of 2009 is HostGator.com and here are the features when you subscribe to their services: 24/7 phone, email and live chat support (which is very useful especially when you encounter errors, bugs or downtime), free setup across all dedicated servers, no contracts, an extended 45-day money back guarantee and a huge scripts library.

It’s like sitting pretty and doing nothing but put great content to your site, right? Interested? If you want that kind of service, then go for a managed web host. If you want to know more about a managed web hosting or other types of web hosting, go to WebHostingChoice.com now.

Professional web hosting

I love the fact that there are many choices for us users when it comes to web hosting. You can choose using price as your base criteria. Or the features. Or all of the above. These days, you can also research about a particular web host first before you make any decision. Compare the services offered by different web hosts. Read reviews.

A friend of mine is considering getting her very own web hosting plan one of these days. I told her to read various reviews, like the host clear review, before she makes a final choice. Let me summarize what a review has. Price. A Host Clear plan subscription is $5.95 per month. And a plan includes an unlimited disk space, bandwidth and MySQL. All the usual stuff. The difference from other web hosting plans is that it only uses high performance Dell servers. So as to avoid servers crashing especially when they are offering unlimited disk space and bandwidth.

That’s only a sample of what a review has. Go to WPDesigner.com and check out their full review on Host Clear. They have other reviews on other web hosts so after reading the review on Host Clear, check out the other ones for comparison.

Lethargic

I am almost always productive. If I can finish all my tasks in one sitting, I grab that opportunity to do so. Not because I am a perfectionist but because I want to be able to do more things. I also don’t like putting off doing things that I can do today.

But for the past two weeks now, I feel lethargic all the time. Sleepy, dragging the hours… I don’t know why but I keep feeling that way. I am praying it’s not related to my health but a simple case of burn out. I’ve been sleeping for 6 hours a day for weeks now. But that six hours is divided into 4 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

I need to be more productive in the coming weeks. I cannot afford to be lazy anymore. Or sleepy. Or dragging the hours…

Thinking room

For women, bathrooms are very important. We can’t just squat anywhere and relieve ourselves. Men can do that. We can’t. Or we can except that it can be really embarrassing for people to see you half-ass naked, right?

When you walk into a woman’s den, expect to see a well-maintained bathroom. Because, personally, I do believe that we spend more time in the bathroom than in any other room in the house. I do read in there. Think about the future and analyze the past. I even write there because it is just so conducive to thinking. Ideas keep pouring in.

I know a lot of people can relate to what I’ve just written. And let me suggest this: look in your bathroom. If you see a place where you can spend time thinking, then good for you. If you see a bathroom that is only for relieving yourself and taking a bath, then you might be in need of cheap bathroom suites from BetterBathrooms.com asap!

Better Bathrooms offers, as I’ve said, cheap bathroom suites. They are currently undergoing a clearance sale and you can avail of bath, basin and toilet at remarkably cheap prices. Go to BetterBathrooms.com now and remodel that bathroom of yours. You know you need to.

Outside looking in

outside_looking_inShe feels like she’s outside looking in when it comes to love. She’s never had major relationships that she can speak of. But she’s been in love, twice. She knows a lot of stuff about love. She can even counsel about it because she gets it more than anybody else. Still… she feels like a stranger to the big emotion that make many people go gaga.

Outside looking in. So apt for her. She’s been always on the outside, looking into a world full of love. Often, the ones that she like the most, those potential to love, are taken. Like him. Who would have thought?

It’s not yet too late for her to stop looking in, and instead really step in. There’s still plenty of time. The only problem is to whom? And can he give her back the same amount of love that she has?

Hidden camera: when is it okay to use?

Clock Camera

Who can say that there’s a hidden camera in that clock above? It can hang on your wall and the people in your living room won’t know that they are being spied on. But when does the use of a hidden camera becomes okay? When does it become justified?

Hidden Camera. Some people are against the use of it. Violation of privacy. Encourages peeping toms, in a way. Can be used in a bad way by people who don’t have any better thing to do. Some people are okay with the use of it. To an extent. And I am one of those who are in favor for the use of hidden cameras. Basically, for me, the use of it can be justified in certain cases. Like in a family where both parents work and the kid(s) is(are) left with a nanny. Let’s face it, not all nannies can be trusted. How would you know how the kids are treated when your back is turned? Use a hidden camera. Or when you suspect that something illegal happens inside your home. Or when a spouse is cheating inside your very home. There are circumstances that the use of a hidden camera can be justified.

Go to BrickHouseSecurity.com and get a hidden camera you can use at home. I like the clock camera the best. It is so inconspicuous.

Short on funds?

We all find ourselves in a deep rut from time to time. I do. Before every payday, I tell myself to refrain from spending on unnecessary things. Then I will draw up a budget I should adhere to. I do follow it most of the time. But then there are months when I find myself short on funds. Because I deviated from the budget, I spent on something I probably don’t really need. When I do find myself needing a boost on the financial department, I can turn to my aunt for help. But not every one has an aunt like mine.

Fast Cash Advance. When you don’t have an aunt like mine who can spare some for me when I need it, you can turn to a fast cash loan. You can check out www.cashadvancefast.com to see how you can easily avail of this cash advance. You need to know that you have to have a full time job so they know you are capable of paying them back. You need to have a checking account. And a minimum monthly income of $1,500.

If you find yourself short and the next payday is still days away, go to www.cashadvancefast.com right away and avail of their cash advance loans.

The queen's daydreaming.

sparkles

When I was a little kid, I used to daydream a lot. My mom would often berate me when she finds me with a faraway look. She knew then that I was in my own little world. She didn’t like me doing that because I might not come back to reality. Good thing she kept reminding me to stop. Or I would have never come back.

Because in my world, every little thing is to my liking. And I am the queen of it all.

Through a rose-colored glass…

InLove

I just realized I am still capable of liking… a lot! It really made my day when I saw the message. I really like… Ha! Seeing things through a rose-colored glass… still happened. And everything smells like roses…

Too bad about the status, though. Guess I still have a hold on my senses. View’s not too obscured. I am having quite a laugh right now.

Checking out mobile homes

Little Samantha’s family loves to go out of town on weekends. They love exploring the countryside. But instead of checking into costly hotels or bed and breakfast inns, they always bring with them their mobile home. It’s been with them for years now. They had it custom made, compact style, so they can bring it with them anywhere. A home on wheels, so to speak.

Since the one they have is already a couple of years old, Samantha’s dad is thinking of getting a new one. They are checking out mobile homes that they can purchase for the family.

AZChampion.com can actually point those interested like Samantha’s family to the right direction. When you go to their site, all you need to do is click on the state in which you are in. And it will redirect you to a site that caters to your state. These are direct factory outlets so you can be assured that the prices are reasonable. This is good news to Samantha’s family because they can sure buy a new mobile home but they are not a rich family. They still have a budget that they adhere to.

Interested, too? Go to AZChampion.com now and check out how you can get your very own mobile home.
