I have been my brother’s surrogate mother since his birth. I’ve seen him grow up. When he was still a kid, just one smile from him erases all my worries. But there’s no contentment, no satisfaction. I have never been passionate about my profession. In fact, I quit 3 years ago and opted to do consultancy work and full-time blogging. If I can help it, I will never go back to that profession again.

I think the result has something to do with my regrets in life. When I look back, when I step back and look at my life so far, it’s filled with regrets. There were so many bad decisions. There were so many things I could have done differently. There were things I could have prioritized more.

I don’t really see the glass as half full. It might have been that way but I am trying to be more positive now.
