That’s one of my fave pasta of all time… Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta from Yellow Cab! Yum, yum, yum! I ate one with my sibs yesterday. I’ve been craving for this pasta for days now and have only assuaged my cravings yesterday when we went to the mall. One order is good for 2-3 persons, depending on your hunger. That box was for me and my brother.

We also had some pizza. All in all, cravings satisfied!

My dad isn’t perfect. He makes mistakes and have been an absentee dad for a long time. But I appreciate his presence now more than ever. I appreciate the effort he has put to take care of us and show us through deeds that he loves us.

Today would have been my brother’s 26th birthday. But he died 11 years ago, when he was 15. Leukemia took his life and cut it short. I still miss him. We were really close. I was there when he breathed his last. I was there during those almost six tough months of chemo sessions. It was really hard for me. But knowing in my heart that at least he wouldn’t be suffering anymore eased the grief a bit.

He wanted to be an engineer. He had this essay where he wrote and drawn his plans after college. I cried so hard when I read that. He would have been a great brother, especially during the rough days when I was embroiled in one problem over another…

There are so many what if, what might have beens in my life. And my brother is one of those.

Spent the day with my best girl friend. Watched a movie. Angels & Demons was really good! I don’t know why the reviews say otherwise. I loved Ewan McGregor and the movie’s take on the book.

It was a day of fun for the both of us. Especially when we went shopping! My feet still ache like crazy but then the day brought a smile to my face.

All worth it.

I was so darn hungry when we went to the mall yesterday. My sister and I were salivating over tempura and sukiyaki. When we arrived at Teriyaki Boy, there were so many patrons already we were asked to wait.

When we were finally seated, nobody’s taking our order!

The crew were running around, I believe there’s only three or four of them and the place was packed.

My sister and I vowed that it will take a long time for us to go back to that branch.

I’ve watched the movie three times. It still sucked. Bad adaption. Bad acting. Mediocre actors. But you have to admit, your love of the book transfers to the movie itself. And to the main man!

Sigh.
