It’s graduation time once again. I remember graduating in high school. I was so darn happy because it would mean college and soon after, my own money through work! I would often go to school late, my classmates teasing me that I was already practicing going to college. I spent more time daydreaming about college and work.
Looking back, I regret those times I missed so much because of my preoccupation with after high school. I wasn’t able to spend so much time with my friends and classmates. Sayang.
So to those who are graduating in high school, I suggest you make the most out of your time. Don’t think of anything else yet but enjoy the few days you have left with your buddies.
Should you happen to find out that not only are you diabetic but you are also now a cancer patient. What will you do then? Can you imagine yourself suffering from bladder cancer? You don’t smoke. You sleep on time for at least six hours straight and you drink eight glasses of water a day. And then you find out you now have cancer from actos, the medicine for your diabetes!
I don’t know what I am capable of should that happen to me. For those of you in that predicament, go ahead and file a case against actos and the people behind it.

That’s one of my fave pasta of all time… Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta from Yellow Cab! Yum, yum, yum! I ate one with my sibs yesterday. I’ve been craving for this pasta for days now and have only assuaged my cravings yesterday when we went to the mall. One order is good for 2-3 persons, depending on your hunger. That box was for me and my brother.
We also had some pizza. All in all, cravings satisfied!
I think it’s even more depressing for a depressed person to know that while taking anti-depressants to battle the medical situation she’s in, she actually caused her child’s birth defect. How do you deal with that kind of information? I think I will break down and cry and will rage against the world for what happened to my child!
With the case of this woman, instead of just raging over what happened, she is also filing a Prozac Lawsuit. I love blankets. I cannot sleep without one over my legs. This one is from a trunkful of old things from my childhood. Surprisingly, it’s still looking brand new. Thanks to my mom who really knew how to store things and keep them fresh-looking.

My laptop is currently acting up. So I am using my desktop for now.
My cellphone is a smartphone. I use it not only for sending text messages and calling but also as an ebook reader, notepad and a pocket dictionary.

It’s always good for the heart to be pleasantly surprised with sweet gifts from friends and love ones. Sweeter it will be if there’s no occasion at all and they thought of you.
There was one time when a friend was down due to a bad performance appraisal of a former boss who had a grudge to settle with her. She gave my friend a bad rating and she felt so depressed about it. She worked so hard and a bad boss could have ruined everything for her. Good thing there was one other boss who knew of the grudge and he appealed on her behalf. Before she got hold of the good news, me and our other friends sent her some sweet gifts to cheer her up and it did!
I swear the purchase of the outdoor furniture in my aunt’s place is perfect for this weather. It’s so hot even at night so we just love hanging out of the house and taking advantage of the cool breeze. It feels like we are all inside an oven when in the house so it’s so much better to be outside when the sun goes down.
And that’s what we do. We would go to my aunt’s house and just hang out there. It’s a bonus that she has a big LCD TV outside the house where we can watch TV shows or do movie marathons.
Just when you know something is not right for you, like ice cream is to me and other sweets, you crave it. You yearn for it like you haven’t tasted it in years!
That’s how I feel towards ice cream right now. I crave it even if I know sweet is not good for my blood sugar.
But I crave it!!!
Can I have a scoop please?
Maita always brings with her a personalized blanket that her parents gave her when she was a teenager. She went to summer camp back then and she was getting homesick so her parents sent that blanket to her as a reminder of home. Since then when she has to go away even for a night, she brings the blanket with her. It’s her warmth bundled from home and she just can’t sleep without it.
The blanket’s been with her when she went out of town and out of the country numerous times. Her parents tease her about it being the well-traveled blanket in the history of mankind.
It really is so nice when you see your brother happy because he has a thoughtful girlfriend. I know that my brother is a thoughtful boyfriend as I see him always thinking of his girl and preparing something for her. I heard that my brother’s preparing his girlfriend’s birthday gift. I also heard him telling a friend of theirs that his girl is preparing a surprise gift for him on her very birthday!
How sweet young love is!
I just wish that even though they are very much in love with each other they will still consider being financially and emotionally stable first before taking a leap of faith and settling down early.
It’s so freaking hot where I am now so I have decided to just stay put in the bedroom with the fan directed at me. I will just lie down and read a book and nothing else. I will relax and empty my mind after reading.
I will not exert effort on doing anything as it will only make me sweat a lot and I don’t want that.

The three teenage girls were talking nonstop about plus size prom dresses. They are a bit on the heavy side and they need special prom dresses for themselves. Good thing there’s an online shop where they found really chic ones and they are about to choose the ones they will wear.
They already have dates for their prom night. They are actually going out with their closest guy friends and they can’t wait to have a lot of fun on that day! It will be an all-day event for them as they will be spending the night before the prom at a friend’s house and a make-up artist and a hair stylist will be going there to help them prepare.
The family and I thought it would be great to spend the past two nights learning how to shop online. We ordered quite a number of items and it would have cost us a lot in shipping costs if not for the free shipping codes that my sister found online, too. We enjoyed shopping for clothes, books, accessories, knick-knacks as well as home stuff. We just enjoyed it so much we had to do it again!
So now we are all waiting for the deliveries to start pouring in. We can’t wait to get our hands on our purchases! It set us back a bit but the things we bought will be useful to all of us.
She’s always love her mom’s fashion sense. She particularly love her accessories and jewelries. Her mom has these stackable mothers rings and she always borrows one when she’s going out with her friends. They also love it and often ask her where she got the ring. She tells them it’s her mom’s and she will have one customized for all of them one of these days.
Just like mom’s. That’s what she always have to say about her own fashion sense. And unlike other women her age who are not so happy when they are compared to their moms, she is very proud to say that she is after her mom in every way.
Whenever I see photos associated with wedding, I keep being reminded of my very good friend who’s preparing for her upcoming wedding abroad. I keep wishing I am there helping her with it. I keep wishing I can offer something for her.
Too bad it’s so hard to get a visa to fly out there. If it’s any easy, I would have been there and will stay until the wedding is over.
